It all doesn't need to be done at once or at the same time. Cancer takes years to grow. So unless you have weeks to live, take on the procedures that speak to you.
Make your mind up. If there is ever a time where it all gets too hard, again, it's your life, your cancer and your journey. If you decide to stop any protocol, traditional or natural, please be honest with family and loved ones. Let them know your decision and make the most of your time.
By following a very low carbohydrate diet; alongside packing and flooding your cells with healthy fat, nutrient-dense foods, you can reverse disease and inflammation. You can oxidise (give oxygen) to your cells to perform better.

It's so important that your mindset is strong. If you are going to begin a lifestyle change, stick with it because the alternative harder? ; O)
Is your body deficient in nutrients? It can't fight those cancer cells — getting rid of toxins and acid-forming foods and thoughts (as these feed cancer) without having the right balance of nutrients.
Cells that are full of oxygen, LIVE foods have little to no toxins. When cells have are given nutrient-dense foods, exercise, vitamins like Vitamin D and C, the more oxygen your blood can flood your cells killing the 'wonky' cells in a phase called apoptosis (programmed cancer cell death).
Live foods are foods that are fresh and still have the sunshine in them. Freshly cut sprouts, greens, lettuce etc.
Another way to get more oxygen into your cells is Oxygen Therapy.

So simply put; eat real foods! You can up your protein intake with nuts and seeds. Here is Luke Hines Keto chocolate cake. Add some essential oils, like peppermint to it and leave out the fruit for a different taste experience. Mix it up to suit you.
You can eat as much of this as you'd like.
Seeds are a great source of natural proteins, healthy fats, fibre, minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, plant iron and zinc. Use these to make a vast amount of different types of crackers — one cup of any seeds or nuts with one egg.
Mix up the spices and herbs. Spread lashes of thick organic grass-fed butter on the top, or sardines, and top off with some sprouts.

If you can't find cassava flour use organic buckwheat flour instead (you can purchase from Coles or Woollies).
Buy these nuts in order of preference listed below because of their nutritional value and lack of phytates and lectins. Whizzing them in a Thermomix or high-speed blender can make a delicious nut-butter to have instead of butter on seed toast, on crackers.
Make some protein nut-butter balls with goji berries and shredded coconut. Add in apricot kernel. This is called B17 or laetrile. There has been lots of evidence that laetrile has killed cancer. It has a tiny bit of cyanide in it that doesn't hurt healthy cells but cause apoptosis in cancer cells.
Just make sure when you buy your shredded coconut that it hasn't got preservative E220 / E223, these are carcinogenic. Woollies do an organic one.

"Let's look at how the different butter options like ghee and standard butter not sourced from grass-fed cows compare to grass-fed butter. I've written about ghee before, and I highly recommend it. Ghee has a unique nutrition profile without any lactose or casein, but it's rich in short-chain and medium-chain fatty acids and butyrate. For people who are sensitive to lactose or casein, they can use ghee because the process has removed these allergens. If you've been told to stay away from dairy and butter, I would still experiment with grass-fed ghee.
Both butter and ghee contain medium and short-chain fatty acids. Butter contains 12 per cent to 15 per cent medium and short-chain fatty acids, while ghee contains 25 per cent or higher. The body actually metabolises these fats in a different manner than long-chain fatty acids. The result? Medium and short chains are not associated with cardiovascular disease.
Ghee has a higher smoke point than butter, so ghee is more stable at high heat. Meanwhile, grass-fed butter is better for baking and cooking at lower temperatures."

But isn't butter dairy? Why can't I have dairy?
My clients ask this all the time, this article is long and very informed, so take a paragraph at a time and digest what you read.
The answer to whether or not anyone should consume dairy products is a complicated one. As with many things, the answer comes down to: 'It depends.'
Nora Gedgaudas has an article explaining the effect of dairy on the body available on The Paleo Way website, which is free to use. It covers how dairy is full of toxins, sugar, and produces oestrogen that can feed and strengthen any cancer cells.
But if you are reading this thinking "I CAN'T GIVE UP MILK IN MY TEA OR COFEEE!!!" Then don't forget to try some butter tea. Tibetan monks have been drinking butter tea for thousands of years. It makes it rich and creamy like milk and is full of all those good fats that you learnt about from Dr Mercola earlier up this page.
Dairy produces estrogens or Zeno-estrogens in our bodies. This is an extra burden to our livers and immune system. Zeno estrogens are "pretend" estrogens that not only are produced in our systems via chemicals from foods but how our foods are stored and packed in. Plastics are very high in Zeno-estrogens, so I'd unpack any organic foods from plastics wrappers straight away. Don't store foods in plastics, please never put hot foods or heat foods in plastic.

But then you have a mix of real foods and toxins. What am I going on about here? What I mean by that is, that only going to your local supermarket and gathering your meats and vegetables from there, you could still be poisoning your system. Read the next article to explain why.
This list of real foods called the clean 15, dirty dozen shows, which foods are REALLY toxic if not buying organic. They suck in and soak up the pesticides and chemicals that CAUSE and KEEP cancer present.
But again, if for example, I was fighting cancer, I would buy known cancer-fighting foods like asparagus, organic if I could afford it. Onions, for instance, I'd never buy organic if I was watching those purse strings.

Making sure your Omega 3 fats is higher than Omega 6 fats, this is crucial to reducing inflammation or oxidative stress. Healthy fats like virgin olive oil, coconut oil, avocados are best to cook with. Butter can turn rancid if overcooked too. You could make a chocolate mousse with avocado or use avocado oil in cooking (especially great for foods that you don't want to taste of coconut) I didn't like coconut tasting eggs at first, but now I can't taste the coconut oil so stick with it.

A test you can get done to check your omega count is called Omega Quant – you want to be in the 8-12 per cent range. The test measures EPA and DHA.
Overloading our livers can have such an impact on our overall health and immune system. That's why toxins NEED to be removed from the body and all around us.
Eat the rainbow, as simple and as easy as that. Try to have at least five different colours on your plate. Try not to eat 'white' foods.

While natural sweeteners like stevia and erythritol have become more popular in recent years, it's still a wide field. One lesser-known option is yacon syrup—a natural sweetener with a low-calorie count and prebiotic abilities.
Yacon syrup is derived from the large tuberous roots of Smallanthus sonchifolius, a species of daisy that is cultivated in the Andes at altitudes of between 880 and 3500 metres. Detoxing every day is essential to beating cancer. Sweating is a great way to get rid of toxins naturally. Another reason to get some exercise in. Not well enough to exercise, then go to a good sauna. Infrared and near-infrared is best.

Marinating foods with oregano may also reduce the formation of heterocyclic amines (HCAs) — chemicals created when meat is cooked at high temperatures. HCAs have been found to increase cancer risk in animals. Oregano can be added to marinades, pizza, pasta, and tuna salad, just to name a few dishes."

The link between cancer and inflammation has become stronger in recent years. There are plenty of foods high in vitamin C, making it super easy (and delicious) to get in your daily dose. Fruits and vegetables, in particular, are excellent ways to boost your intake.
Here are a few of the best sources of vitamin C:

Juicing also helps alkalise your body. All modern-day foods are acidic. When juicing lots of greens, you will be flooding your cells with chlorophyll. This also floods your cells with lots of oxygen.
Eating as many chlorophyll-rich foods like greens, salads and broccoli are ways for our bodies to detox and are packed full of phytonutrients which are chemical compounds. Phytonutrients also have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help support a healthy human body.

Basically, they keep us alive and well and help us get rid of the free radicals that destroy our bodies and make us sick.
"Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage the cells in your body. They form when atoms or molecules gain or lose electrons. They often occur as a result of normal metabolic processes. For example, when your body uses oxygen, it creates free radicals as a by-product and the damage caused by those free radicals is called "oxidative stress."
But your metabolism isn't the only culprit. You can also be exposed to free radicals that come from various environmental sources such as radiation, drugs, pesticides, solvents, cigarette smoke, and other pollutants.
Why Are Free Radicals So Bad?
When you're young and healthy, your body does a pretty good job of dealing with these free radicals, and you don't even notice anything. But, if you don't eat right, smoke, or are exposed to a lot of environmental sources of free radicals, your risk for cellular and organ damage goes up. Oh, and ageing takes its toll on your free-radical defence system too.
Free radicals damage cells over time, so eventually whatever organ those cells belong to isn't going to function quite as well as it should. For example, a connective tissue called collagen gets weaker with free radical exposure, and as a result, your skin gets more wrinkles. Also, the walls of your arteries can get damaged, and cholesterol plaques build up, which can reduce blood flow to your heart, brain, and other organs, or cause blood clots.
Because of the potential damage, excessive free radical exposure is associated with an increased risk of many chronic diseases, such as heart disease and some forms of cancer. Obviously, it's an excellent idea to avoid excessive amounts of free radicals."

Make sure you are only using Himalayan or sea salt. Keep your salt levels up, especially as all-natural foods don't come with salt. We need to take a look at your mineral levels to make sure you are absorbing the right nutrients.

So, with all this info and I've only just scratched the surface, we should all be thriving, with or without cancer. Remember, it doesn't have to be a death sentence.
Bone broth and cancer- Normally I'd be saying to my functional health clients to get as much bone broth in as you can, great gut-healing properties. Unfortunately, the glutamine in bone broth can fuel cancer cell growth. This is an essential amino acid that our body makes and needs; however, if we are making and using what we need and not having an excess of it (as in drinking bone broth), we are not providing extra fuel for the cancer cells. This is a relatively new science. Watch this space…but, for now, stick to vegetable broths and soups.
Audible – Now I'm not a very fast reader, especially when it comes to new scientific breakthroughs, or old ones come to that. Ewan M Cameron has every tool you'll ever need to kill the cancer head-on. He has written many books on every type of cancer. I have listed to three of them. I personally think they are worth a listen too.

Harmonise the mind-body connection – Meditate, walk in the sea, get enough time out in nature and tell every cell in your body you are healthy. The mind is such a powerful tool. Use it!
Weight-bearing exercise – building strong muscle can fight the cancer cells, improve circulation, help restful sleep and a heap more benefits. Few but often is the key. Push-ups against the bathroom wall each time you go to the toilet or shower. Squats before actually sitting in a chair.
Get a good quality 8 hrs of sleep every night. Go to bed and get up at the same time to help circadian rhythms.
What a typical day looks like for my dad…
Have a glass of Lemon juice in bicarb and water on an empty stomach.
Do some tai-chi, chi-gong or meditate for 10-30 mins
A glass of fresh juice – just veggies! Drink outside.
Do a weight session
Have a shower
Take essential oils and rub them on the bottom of the feet, wrists and back of the neck and over the place where the cancer is.
Eat a cooked breakfast like eggs and bacon, spinach and sauerkraut.
Keep busy, walk in nature, at the beach. Ground – barefoot
Deep breathe throughout the day
Complete any daily tasks. Keep building your life for the future. Stay positive and tell yourself you are healing.
Surround yourself with inspiring people, friends and family.
Lunch - a keto paleo lunch, of course.
Drink plenty of purified water.
Start something new – my dad built a model boat – maybe learn a new instrument.
Nap if needed – no longer than 30 mins.
Meditate and or yoga
More essential oils.
Throughout the day between lots of green and matcha tea.
Munch on fat bombs
Keto/paleo dinner 3 hours before bedtime
Sing, laugh and play. Like you did when you were a kid!
